CEBU CITY, Philippines - World junior flyweight champion Donnie Nietes will face one of his toughest challenges when he faces former unified strawweight champion Francisco Rodriguez Jr on Saturday, July 11 at the Waterfront Hotel in Cebu City, Philippines.
Nietes (35-1-4, 21 knockouts) of Murcia, Negros Occidental, Philippines will be trying to preserve his nearly 8 year reign as a world champion, while Rodriguez (17-2-1, 11 KOs) of Monterrey, Mexico looks to win a title in his second division.

In the co-feature, featherweight prospect Mark Magsayo (10-0, 8 KOs) of Tagbliran City, Philippines will face Rafael Reyes (16-4, 12 KOs) in a 10-round fight.
Also appearing on the card will be Mexican politician/television star Jorge Kahwagi (11-0, 11 KOs), making his first ring appearance in 10 years when he faces Ramon Olivas (13-3, 9 KOs) in a 6-round cruiserweight bout.
