IN PHOTOS: Royals claim first win in final day of IPTL Manila leg
MANILA, Philippines – The OBI UAE Royals survived the OUE Singapore Slammers, 26-23, for their first victory in the Manila leg of the 2015 Coca-Cola International Premier Tennis League on Tuesday, December 8 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Former women's world no. 1 Ana Ivanovic opened up the match with her first set win this leg, 6-5 (7-5), over Karolina Pliskova in women’s singles.
Tomas Berdych then wrapped up the victory with clutch play in the final set for a thrilling 6-4 victory over Nick Kyrgios in men’s singles.
