WATCH: Folayang, Aoki come face-to-face at ONE Championship’s presser

SINGAPORE – Eduard Folayang and Shinya Aoki had a glimpse of each other for the last time before their collision inside the ONE Championship cage on Friday, November 11.

Aoki puts the coveted ONE Championship lightweight title on the line against Folayang in the main event of the promotion’s “Defending Honor” card, which takes place at the 12,000-seater Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore.

Both men had an eerie staredown that drew a raucous ovation from the crowd at ONE Championship’s public faceoff event in Clarke Quay.

Showing that he has a man of few words, Folayang invited everyone in attendance for his first mixed martial arts (MMA) world title bout of his 9-year professional career.

Meanwhile, Aoki stressed that he is not worried about Folayang’s lethal striking prowess as the 32-year-old Baguio City native is known to possess dangerous firepower in all of his limbs.

Also part of the event is Filipino stalwart Vaughn Donayre, who is slated to take on Singaporean combatant Amir Khan in a 3-round tussle.
