LAGUNA, Philippines – Payback.
The National Capital Region (NCR) gets its sweet revenge after beating its 2013 Palaro basketball tormentor Central Visayas, 90-80 to enter the finals of the 57th edition of the country's biggest sporting event.

NCR took an early lead after the first quarter, 20-12 and never looked back. The 2013 silver medalists led by as much as 12, 73-61 in the 4th quarter.
Defending champions Central Visayas threatened to comeback cutting the deficit to 5, 85-80 with 34.7 ticks left. Unfortunately they didn't have enough left in the tank to complete a comeback.
