LAGUNA, Philippines – It’s the time of the year again when the country’s best athletes gather to showcase their athletic prowess in the biggest sporting stage in the archipelago, the Palarong Pambansa.

More than 6,000 athletes from the 17 regions of the Philippines are in Laguna May 4 to May 10 to battle for supremacy in the games’ 57th staging.
