TAGUM CITY, Philippines – After falling short for two years, the National Capital Region (NCR) is back on top the basketball mountain of Palarong Pambansa.

The Chiang Kai Shek-comprised squad was not to be stopped from reclaiming the title they lost two years ago in a heartbreaking defeat to Central Visayas in Dumaguete.

This year's NCR secondary boys contingent was led by playmaker Fran Yu, 16, who was named Most Valuable Player with his 19 points.
