PH's Daniel Caluag seizes bronze in 2017 SEA Games men's BMX

MANILA, Philippines – Fil-Am cyclist Daniel Caluag ended the men’s cycling tournament with a podium finish in the 29th SEA Games BMX tourney on Saturday, August 26 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Caluag finished in 3rd place behind Thailand and Indonesia who clinched the silver and gold medals, respectively.
The 30-year-old Caluag is the 2013 SEA Games gold medalist and the sport was not included at the 2015 Games. Caluag also competed at the 2012 Olympics in London, and is also the first Filipino to win the BMX cycling gold at the Asian Games, which was the only gold the Philippines won at the 2014 Asiad. – Rappler.com
