PH dragonboat team paddles to SEA Games double bronze

SUBIC, Philippines – The Philippine dragonboat team won two bronze medals in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games traditional boat race held from Saturday, December 7 to Sunday, December 8 at Malawaan Park, Subic.

The team took third place in the mixed 22-seaters 200 meter category with a time of 41.527 seconds, behind Thailand which won gold (39.792 seconds) and Indonesia (40.592 seconds) for silver.

In the mixed 22-seaters 500 meter category, the Philippines managed to get the bronze with a time of 1:58.415. Indonesia took gold (1:53.753) and Thailand picked up the silver (1:55.153). – Rappler.com
