Their blitz continued early in the second period with the help of Sacred Heart's Arnie Padilla and National University's Gino Mosqueda doing most of the damage to build their biggest lead of the first half at 45-26.
Team Mako however, refused to get pounded early, and banked on Chiang Kai Shek MVP Mohammed Salim and National U's Lorenzo Battad to trim the deficit to just 11, 40-51. However, Padilla continued rolling towards the break to give Extreme a 61-45 halftime lead.
Reigning UAAP juniors MVP Thirdy Ravena then owned the third period, flashing his overall skill set all period long, distributing the leather and scoring on a variety of shots.
