MANILA, Philippines - Bridesmaids no more.
The Far Eastern University Tamaraws ended their 10-year drought with a 67-62 win over the University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers on Wednesday, December 2 at Mall of Asia Arena.
Heroes stepped up for both teams, like Mac Belo, who scored 23 points for FEU before being carried off the court with cramps. RR Pogoy added 14 big points for the Tamaraws, while Ed Daquioag and Marvin Lee hit big shots in a losing effort for UST.
The loss ends years of frustration for FEU while the search for another UAAP title continues for UST. Relive the glory that was Game 3 of the UAAP Season 78 Finals in these photos by Josh Albelda.
