Microsoft's Lumia 550 launches in PH

MANILA, Philippines – There's a new cost-friendly Lumia in town!
Microsoft announced Wednesday, February 10, that it had launched the 4G LTE-capable Lumia 550 smartphone in the Philippines for P6,490 ($136).
Running on Windows 10 Mobile, the device sports a 4.7-inch HD screen and runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 1.1 GHz quad core processor, as well as 1GB of RAM.
It comes with 8GB of internal storage, with support for up to 200GB on a microSD card, as well as a 5megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front -facing camera.
Microsoft also promises up to 28 days of standby time on the Lumia 550, as well as up to 14 hours of talk time.
“People are interested in devices that give them the flexibility to get more done faster, and access everything they need while on the go,” said Mark Trundle, Microsoft Mobile Device Sales Segment Lead for the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand.
