Dota 2's Manila Major ticket sales, event details released
MANILA, Philippines – Following Dota 2's Shanghai Major, the Dota-playing community will be looking forward to another major competition, this time in Manila.
In an announcement on Monday, March 7, the Dota team announced the date of ticket sales and The Manila Major event. The Manila Major is slated to take place from June 7 to 12 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Tickets for The Manila Major will go on sale via SM Tickets on March 12, beginning 1:00 pm, Manila time. Tickets come in 3 tiers – P50 ($1), P100 ($2), and P200 ($4) per day for weekdays and P100 ($2), P200 ($4), or P400 ($8) per day on the weekends, depending on how close to the action you want to get.
Meanwhile, the DOTA team added that, "With an eye towards The Manila Major Qualifiers, running May 3 to 6 with Open Qualifiers on April 29 to May 2, all teams must finalize roster changes by March 27." The team rosters will be locked in after that date up until The International ends.
