MANILA, Philippines – Philippine DOTA 2 fans will be pleased to know a Philippine team will be making it to the The International, Valve Software's premier DOTA 2 tournament.

They won their games against the two opposing teams in a best-of-one tiebreaking series.
The International pits 16 teams from around the world against each other on the DOTA 2 battlegrounds for the lion’s share of a prize pool that increases through crowdfunding.
While The International in 2015 had an $18.4 million prize pool, this year's prize pool currently stands at $13.7 million – $1.6 million provided by Valve, with the rest crowdfunded by eager fans.
TNC joins invited teams OG, Team Liquid, MVP Phoenix, Newbee, LGD Gaming, and Natus Vincere, as well as qualifying teams Evil Geniuses and Team Secret, with more teams set to be announced as their qualifying tournaments end.
