LastPass password manager makes cross-device access free
MANILA, Philippines – Password management service LastPass said on Wednesday, November 2, it was making cross-device access for LastPass a free feature everyone could take advantage of.
The service reasoned making LastPass free across devices would make it "much easier for everyone to make good password habits the norm. Because when you have a password manager that goes everywhere you do, you have a strong foundation for securing and taking control of your identity."
Those using LastPass' free version would now benefit from the ability to synchronize their passwords across multiple devices and browsers without issue. They added, "Everything in your vault will be available, automatically, anywhere you login."
Those who use take advantage of the $1-a-month premium subscription will still benefit from various features, such as 1GB of encrypted storage, additional two-factor authentication options, and additional features they will develop for the service over time.
LastPass is highly-recommended, and as long as you take care of your account, LastPass' master password may very well become the last password you'll ever need to remember across your various accounts. – Rappler.com
