Apple releases macOS High Sierra update

MANILA, Philippines – Apple on Monday, September 25 (September 26, Philippine time) released the latest version of desktop operating system macOS, called the High Sierra update.
The High Sierra update of MacOS has a number of new features.
Among them is the Apple File System (APFS), which is an advanced storage architecture that makes for faster file copying, supports the latest high-capacity storage devices, and protects the computer from power outages and crashes.
High Sierra also supports High-Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC), which "enables extremely efficient compression, streaming, and playback of video," and adds Metal 2, the company's latest in advanced graphics technology.
High Sierra also brings updates to Photos, provides support for virtual reality experiences, and improves Siri on the Mac.
