Pinterest user hack spams Twitter with ads
MANILA, Philippines – Pinterest users may want to be careful with what they click on and should change their passwords immediately.
Following last March's "butt pics hacking incident" users are reporting seeing several spam messages on Twitter originating from the popular visual discovery tool. The Twitter messages refer to Pinterest posts about weight loss and are said to be compromised links that can usurp user accounts.
Users are advised to beware any suspicious links on social media, reset Pinterest user passwords, and revoke authorization to any suspicious apps that are paired with your account. – Rappler.com
