Aquino: Climate change altering the way we live

MANILA, Philippines – President Benigno Aquino III gives the keynote address at the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management.

He reminds Filipinos to be aware of the harsh reality of climate change as the country continues to embark on the road to rehabilitation. He says, "The reality of climate change is significantly altering the way we live and we will collectively suffer the consequences of our actions if we continue to ignore signs from the environment."

Speaking to international delegates, he says typhoons do not heed national borders. He calls on the community of nations to deepen cooperation for a more resilient world.
