DOHA, Qatar – Washington has agreed to speed up arms sales to Gulf countries following a meeting with regional foreign ministers in Qatar, US Secretary of State John Kerry.
He told reporters on Monday, August 3, that the United States had "agreed to expedite certain arms sales that are needed and that have taken too long in the past."
Speaking after meeting Gulf Cooperation Council ministers, Kerry added that the US and states in the region would also increase efforts to share intelligence. – Rappler.com
